Since 2005, the India Innovation Summit has been the flagship national event of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Bangalore. This Summit serves as a premier platform for Indian industry leaders to explore and understand the diverse facets of innovation across various industry sectors. It emphasizes the critical role of innovation in driving business success in the digital age. Additionally, the Summit fosters engagement and promotes strategies for innovation-led growth, positioning India as a leader in global markets.

The 20th edition of CII India Innovation Summit 2024 with the theme "India@100: Building for a Resilient, Sustainable, and Inclusive Nation" is scheduled for 4-6 th September at Hotel Shangri-La Bengaluru. India@100 represents our nation's resolve to be a developed economy by 2047 with strong emphasis on prioritizing key pillars such as social progress, scalability and inclusivity, sustainability, resilience, and independence. This aspiration necessitates the creation of an innovation ecosystem and culture that extends beyond present, compelling us to adopt new perspectives. With this in backdrop, 2024 year’s edition of Innoverge will encapsulate innovation for a new era of India, fostering economic growth while ensuring social equity, environmental sustainability, and national resilience. Over the course of three days, the summit will engage all key pillars of a successful innovation ecosystem: universities, large companies, startups, policymakers, and multi-stakeholder partnerships with special focus on highlighting institutions and accelerators from emerging regions, showcasing their crucial role in driving inclusive and scalable innovation.

The objective of the sessions will be to deliberate on creation of such an inclusive ecosystem in 10 sectors: Manufacturing and Industry 4.0, Mobility-Automotive & Transportation, Semiconductors, Tourism & Hospitality, Healthcare & Med Tech, Energy Transition/Sustainability, Education & Skilling, Space sector, Agri & Food, Retail and ECommerce.

Many global economies as well as Indian states have already begun fostering growth and innovation through collaborative multi-stakeholder engagement models, setting benchmarks for others to follow.
